Il caso di Honda Accord Crosstour</title><content type='html'>La Fanpage può far crescere la tua attività in modo esponenziale e globale in pochissimo tempo. Oppure, può diventare oggetto di una forte contestazione altrettanto esponenziale e su scala globale. Il caso della Fanpage della nuova &lt;a href="http://www.facebook.com/accordcrosstour"&gt;Honda Accord Crosstour&lt;/a&gt; inizia con la speranza che la facile equazione "Presente su Facebook=Successo immediato" si avverasse. Ma l'auto è brutta e i fan si sono ribellati, postando migliaia di commenti negativi.&lt;br /&gt;Cosa è successo?&lt;br /&gt;Secondo alcune analisi reperite online, gli errori sono tre:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;-Honda ha rilasciato solo due immagini e basta. Niente approfondimenti, colori, equipaggiamento. Dal nulla nasce il nulla, o peggio, la tempesta.&lt;br /&gt;-Facebook ha un ampio gruppo democrafico di iscritti. La Honda Accord Crosstour ha un pubblico ben diverso. Probabilmente il mezzo si è rivelato inefficace, attraendo giovani, blogger, creativi con un forte senso estetico e tanta voglia di litigare. Non, invece, i veri acquirenti potenziali dell'auto, troppo impegnati a lavorare e portare i figli a Judo.&lt;br /&gt;-La viralità lavora in entrambe le direzioni. Occhio a pianificare quella costruttiva.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Come reagire?&lt;br /&gt;Sicuramente &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;non eliminando i commenti negativi&lt;/span&gt;, cosa che farebbe andare su tutte le furie la community. Il suo commento è stato eliminato, secondo l'azienda, per non aver dichiarato di essere dipendente Honda e, nello specifico, perché sarebbe passato per portavoce, cosa che non è.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Ma l'azione di rispondere alla pioggia marrone con risposte valide potrebbe risultare positiva:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Aprirsi ai commenti negativi&lt;/span&gt;, cercando di &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;stabilire una discussione&lt;/span&gt; con il pubblico dimostrerebbe un approccio intelligente dell'azienda, disposta a mettersi in gioco veramente e sfruttando, così, la brutta esperienza iniziale per dare la &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;massima risonanza mediatica&lt;/span&gt; al prodotto.&lt;br /&gt;Come diceva Wilde, "bene o male purché se ne parli". Quello che ci vedo è solo un tentativo onanista di giocare creativamente con un tabù. In questo caso, il tabù è Hitler. Un giorno scriverò un'ode al cazzeggio: è più facile inibire la creatività restando su schemi di lavoro rigidi, invece di lasciare aperte le porte e filtrare il più possibile di ciò che ci circonda. &lt;br /&gt;E' difficile che qualcuno di voi conosca il latte di soya Silk. Io non l'ho mai sentito, ma negli Stati Uniti è un prodotto famoso. Così qualcuno si è finalmente accorto di un bisogno che inizialmente apparteneva solo ai navigatori di siti porno: la facoltà di zoomare.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.closr.it/"&gt;Closr.it&lt;/a&gt; è un sito (italiano!) nel quale caricare le proprie immagini in alta risoluzione per zoomarle mantenendo la qualità e scoprire, così, dettagli altrimenti invisibili. &lt;br /&gt;Per esempio? Facebook sta diventando &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;l'unico nostro alter-ego online possibile&lt;/span&gt;. Dopo la prima grande rivoluzione, il nome utente semplificato, Facebook sta testando una nuova funzionalità destinata a rafforzare i tre cardini della condivisione legata al social network: &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Controllo, Semplicità, Connessione&lt;/span&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;La nuova funzionalità consiste nella possibilità di decidere con chi condividere gli elementi postati sul profilo. Fin qui nulla di nuovo, ci sono le liste. Ma odora anche di fagocitazione di essi in vista di un &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;microblogging più dinamico&lt;/span&gt; e più personalizzato nei confronti del target desiderato.&lt;br /&gt;Si accende qualche lampadina, pubblicitari?&lt;br /&gt;La seconda novità, anch'essa in fase di test, comporta un nuovo passo verso il bypassaggio di Twitter: la possibilità di eseguire una &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;ricerca fra gli aggiornamenti di status&lt;/span&gt; di tutta la community in base a parole chiave e risultati in ordine cronologico, esattamente come già si può fare con Twitter.&lt;br /&gt;Ultimamente, sono tante le aziende che cercano il proprio nome o i proprio prodotti sugli aggiornamenti del microblog per &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;prevenire un passaparola negativo&lt;/span&gt; e offrire direttamente ai consumatori un servizio cortesia iperpersonalizzato. Questo si riflette sulla community di Twitter, sul passaparola, sull'azienda stessa.&lt;br /&gt;Facebook è sempre più completo. Fonde in sè cultura, informazione, esperienza, memoria, aggiornamento, condivisione... ed è la sintesi più semplice di questi elementi. Bacardi, infatti, ha realizzato una campagna online per Breezer, il quasi soft-drink &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;pensato per avvicinare gli adolescenti all'alcolismo&lt;/span&gt;, sfruttando un sito e un gruppo su Facebook dai contenuti offensivi e incredibilmente destinato alle donne! Il concept in pratica è questo:&lt;br /&gt;Quest'estate, &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;per essere sicura di cuccare, gira con un'amica cessa&lt;/span&gt;. Certo, i contenuti sono sempre gli stessi, ma la storia si lascia vedere, non c'è che dire. Il target è stato ringiovanito con conseguente sparizione di fedi al dito e casa di campagna (dei genitori?) occupata da un nutrito gruppo di giovani baccanti in onore della sacra trenetta.&lt;br /&gt;Ma chi ha capito che lo speaker è nientepopodimeno che Mina? Yes, Mina Mazzini. Da un aspetto, questo è un problema. Se gli stessi pubblicitari non sono in grado di riconoscere La Voce, potrà farlo il pubblico medio? Lo dubito con riserva. Sotto una certa età, molto probabilmente no. Ma al di sopra di essa?&lt;br /&gt;Là si trova un target di consumatori cresciuti a Carosello, quando Mina &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;in persona&lt;/span&gt; decantava la cuoca che c'è in ogni massaia (e di conseguenza in ogni figlia della massaia) degli anni Sessanta.&lt;br /&gt;Quindi, da un lato lo spot non raggiunge subito tutti, dall'altro lato, raggiunge tutti con due storie diverse. Me lo vedo Colaninno nel tinello di casa col suo portatile a montare le scene con Movie Maker. Prendiamo delle belle foto vintage featuring aerei Alitalia d'antan. Personaggi famosi d'altri tempi, super (banali) che cercano di catturare l'attenzione, (tentata) escalation di tensione e poi demoliamo il tutto con un taglio netto che mostra un aereo che decolla. E per restare in tema vintage non usiamo un aereo moderno, no per carità, ma un A320 ideato nel 1988! &lt;div&gt;Sono curioso di quanto sia costato questo terribile spot, completamente sbagliato e per questo irritante. Perché, per esempio, per parlare di Compagnia Aerea &lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;ITALIANA&lt;/span&gt; si è scelta una canzone come "Only You"? Se era per trovare un jingle che dicesse "Solo tu", allora sarebbe stato comunque più furbo usare qualcosa di italiano. Che ne so, forse "'o Scarrafone"?&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Per tutti è Alitalia? I video della &lt;strong&gt;NeverHideFilms&lt;/strong&gt; sono parte della copy strategy della vasta campagna di comunicazione di Ray-Ban; una campagna ben integrata su mezzi online e offline con una vasta -machedicovasta, vastissima- visibilità. Praticamente Ray-Ban è ovunque e pure i blog ne parlano.&lt;br /&gt;Il segreto del successo della campagna, che come head/payoff recita "Never Hide" è nel NON aver giocato sul "non nascondersi", ma aver puntato solo sulla &lt;em&gt;figosità&lt;/em&gt; degli occhiali. Al di là della resistenza delle lenti, della bellezza del design o della garanzia.&lt;br /&gt;I &lt;strong&gt;video&lt;/strong&gt; ne sono un esempio perfetto.&lt;br /&gt;Vi consiglio di notare l'estrema semplicità dei "set" e degli artifici tecnici. Ogni video è stato realizzato sfruttando gabole banali (riprese a ritroso, fili invisibili, spazi nascosti) e attori normali. Ogni storia è ad alto intrattenimento e al limite del veritiero. Un paio di giorni fa, però, qualcuno ha pensato di &lt;em&gt;hackare &lt;/em&gt;il manifesto con un'azione di guerrilla applicando un orecchio (col nome del sito del concorso &lt;a href="http://www.zushii.com/"&gt;zushii.com&lt;/a&gt;) sull'orecchio originale. L’incontro ha visto salire sul palco, a tenere delle conferenze sul tema, i massimi esperti di creatività. &lt;a href="http://www.swiss-miss.com/2009/04/99-seth-godin.html"&gt;Swissmiss&lt;/a&gt; si è occupata del liveblogging dell’evento mentre io mi sono limitato a tradurre il post relativo alla presentazione del guru del marketing Seth Godin, l’inventore della Mucca Viola.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;Ecco i punti salienti del suo intervento:&lt;br /&gt;-Non hai bisogno di essere più creativo, &lt;strong&gt;sei già troppo creativo&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;-Sii la persona che conclude “spedendo”. Per quello bisogna proporre attraverso la pubblicità... ma con intelligenza. Poi, io dico sempre che chi mi mette un depliant nella cassetta postale è condannato a non avermi mai come cliente. Eppure, ordino la pizza e il kebab da TRE differenti ristoranti e per il sushi ho DUE scelte. E non me le sono cercate. C'è qualcosa che ci fa incazzare nelle montagne di plichi dozzinali, graficamente poveri, perfetti in un negoziaccio ma fuori luogo nel mio appartamento. A chi comunicare è il come dirlo. E si comunica a un signore che porta in casa le bollette e la pubblicità. Sorvoliamo sull'interlinea *&lt;em&gt;dinamica*&lt;/em&gt; della headline. Il copy deve aver passato una difficile nottata pensando a cosa scrivere, raggiungendo l'illuminazione ermetica con una soluzione geniale: appropriarsi di un modo di dire!&lt;br /&gt;Chi ha il pane non ha i denti e chi ha i denti, non ha il pane. Geniale!&lt;br /&gt;In pratica chi ha i mezzi non sa goderseli e chi non li ha, ha tutta la volontà di goderseli.&lt;br /&gt;Quindi denti non è metaforico? É letterale? Ma che vuor dì?&lt;br /&gt;E come si fa a ribaltare questo modo di dire? É già ribaltato dal "viceversa".&lt;br /&gt;Solo la headline mi ha innervosito. La composizione grafica mi ha fatto alzare un sopracciglio. Le agenzie si lamentano perché i creativi si lamentano. Gli account si lamentano perché i creativi si lamentano perché  non possono essere creativi. Il cliente si lamenta con gli account perché non è il caso di osare tanto. Così tutti si lamentano, nessuno rischia, nessuno innova ed eccoci tutti ancora qui ad aspettare gli anni ’80.&lt;br /&gt;Le agenzie di pubblicità non sono degli studi di grafica agli ordini del cliente, pronte ad eseguire. Se un’azienda si rivolge ad un’agenzia, il &lt;strong&gt;teorema&lt;/strong&gt; dovrebbe essere questo:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Io (azienda) produco ma non so comunicare → Tu (agenzia) comunichi quello che produco nel modo migliore → Parliamo di una linea comune → Troviamone una che soddisfi entrambi.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Ma la realtà è diversa&lt;/strong&gt;. Spesso si scorda la parte “che soddisfi entrambi”. Così ci si impiglia in un sistema vecchio e puzzolente, in cui chi paga ha il diritto di decidere anche su ciò che non gli compete. Un po’ come il vecchio miliardario che compra un viaggio spaziale.  Ma di lavoro non fa l’astronauta.&lt;br /&gt;Non sto dicendo che il cliente debba pagare, tacere e subire.&lt;br /&gt;Ma una volta concordata una direzione, dovrebbe fidarsi, &lt;strong&gt;rischiando&lt;/strong&gt;. Succede così col proprio partner, perché non è così anche nel lavoro? Il cliente non è un partner?&lt;br /&gt;Il nostro non è un lavoro facile, anche se la parola “creativo” riporta a perigei tanto distanti da un approccio scientifico, costruttivo e strategico in favore di una professione votata all’intrattenimento.&lt;br /&gt;Questo è un serpente che si mangia la coda.
